You might have a clear vision in your head on the style, functionality and will work for your family. Hiring an interior designer gives you another pair of eyes to look at what you want, and the most functional way to put it in the room.
An interior designer is able to take into consideration things you may have missed. Such as dead space that can be used as storage. They are also able to play on ideas that you have and make them better through adding their creative spark to the space and making it come to life.
